Unexpected deaths continue to appear on Highways in Balochistan. These deaths exaggerate each year. According to a report by Baloch Youth And Civil Society BYCS, in the month of August, 944 accidents in Balochistan have resulted in 1470 injuries and 143 deaths.
Furthermore, these statistics include a detailed report about Quetta, Pishin, Bostan, Kuchlak, Mastung, Kalat in which 249 accidents, left 368 injured and 33 killed.
Not only this but only in Khuzdar and Sohrab around 157 accidents happened. In which 249 injured and 6 deaths reported.
Other than that in Lasbela, Gadani, Hub, Winder, Uthal around 304 accidents reported which left 402 injured and 18 deaths.
Moreover, in Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Muslim Bagh, Musa Khel, Qila Saifullah Gulistan, Kan Mitarzai, 42 accidents were reported in which 52 injured and 12 deaths occured.
This statistics further includes Zhob, Ziarat, Harnai, Loralai, Dukki and Sherani Khanozai where around 87 accidents were reported which left 157 injured and 29 killed.
Whereas in Noshki Kharan, Dalbandin, Taftan, Chaghi, Besima, Washuk 40 accidents reported which left 97 people injured and 9 deaths.
In Gwadar, Turbat, Tump, Ormara, Pasni, Awaran, Panjgur and Kech includes 21 accidents, 37 injured and 7 people dead.
As in Sibi, Notal, Bolan, Naseerabad, Dera Murad Jamali, Dera Allah yar, Barkan, Sohbatpur, Dera Bugti, Jhal magsi, Usta Muhammad, Jaffarabad, Gandawa, Bakhtiarabad and Kohlu 44 accidents reported which left 108 injured and 29 deaths.
Death tolls due to Highway accidents hike each day in Balochistan which include infants and four to five people of the same family.
